Whether you’re looking for a spooky experience, a trendy boutique, or a cozy restaurant for Valentine’s Day, there’s something for everyone this month. Edgar Allen Poe Speakeasy Experience – February 6th to 8th
Get ready for a spooky night out with the Edgar Allen Poe Speakeasy Experience at Vault 634 in Allentown! From February 6th to February 8th, this unique event offers a combination of four eerie readings from Edgar Allen Poe, paired with four themed cocktails. It’s a perfect mix of literature and mixology, making it an unforgettable evening. My mom and aunt are already excited to go, and if you’re interested too, you can grab your tickets here.
Grace & Grit Boutique – Color Consultant Event – February 8th
If you’re in the West Reading area, Grace & Grit is a new boutique that’s definitely worth checking out. Specializing in wigs and permanent eyebrow makeup, this place also hosts rotating women-owned businesses in their front boutique area. On February 8th, they will have a color consultant on hand to help you discover which colors look best on you! I’m especially excited about this because I’ve never had a color analysis done before. It’s a great way to find out which shades will make you glow!
Nessa Barrett Concert – February 11th at The Met Philly
Music lovers, mark your calendars for Nessa Barrett’s concert on February 11th at 8 PM at The Met in Philly! This up-and-coming artist is making waves in the music scene, and if you’re a fan, you’ll want to be there. While I’m not sure if I’ll be able to make it to Philly on a Tuesday night, I know it’s going to be an amazing show. If you’re interested in going, you can grab your tickets here.
Valentine’s Day Restaurant Recommendations – February 14th
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and if you’re looking for a cozy spot for a special evening, I’ve got some great recommendations:
- A Light in the Attic – Located above The Barley Mow on Penn Ave in West Reading, this speakeasy-style restaurant offers delicious food, drinks, and a romantic ambiance. It’s on the pricier side, but the experience is definitely worth it for a memorable Valentine’s Day dinner.
- The Exchange – If you’re looking for a rooftop experience, The Exchange in Lancaster offers stunning views and a cozy atmosphere (especially with its winter enclosure). While I didn’t try the food when I visited, the drinks were flowing, and the vibe was great!
- Folino Estate Winery – This is one of my all-time favorite spots! Folino Wine Estate will be offering a special multi-course meal for couples on Valentine’s Day. You’ll need to pre-pay for the meal and book your reservation in advance, so be sure to grab your spot by clicking here.
Art at the Cart – February 16th
If you’re looking to tap into your creative side, Art at the Cart at The Bar Cart is hosting a painting event on February 16th starting at 9:45 AM. You’ll be painting beautiful flowers in celebration of Galentine’s Weekend—a perfect way to treat yourself or a group of friends!
